• Design mechanical components and assemblies as part of Sustaining or New Product Development teams using Creo/SolidWorks.
• Develop and review manufactural drawings, ensuring adherence to standard modelling practices and manage the product lifecycle with Windchill.
• Carry out detailed engineering calculations, evaluate designs, and recommend improvements.
• Define testing procedures, conduct tests, document results, and ensure designs meet and client requirements.
• Provide technical guidance and support to the team, contribute to design standards, and share expertise throughout the organization.

• Proficiency in 3D CAD (Creo preferred) and PLM software (Windchill preferred).
• Strong problem-solving and critical thinking abilities.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Mechanical Engineer / Project Manager to oversee the coordination and completion of projects within Data Services, Inc. The ideal candidate will manage all facets of project execution, from design development through construction administration, and optimize project management platforms, ensuring goals are met through effective planning and team leadership. This role is crucial for increasing our workload capacity and contributing to the success of our project deliveries.

Key Responsibilities:

• Coordinate and complete project/program objectives on time, within budget, and scope.
• Manage project execution, including design development, construction administration, and optimization of project management platforms such as Smartsheet's and Procore.
• Set deadlines, assign responsibilities, and monitor progress, providing reports to upper management.
• Ensure a high degree of creativity and latitude in achieving project goals, leading cross-functional teams effectively.
• Utilize extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish ambitious project milestones.

Must Have Skills:

• Proficiency in project management software tools (e.g., Smartsheet, Procore).
• Demonstrated leadership experience with a focus on team management and coordination.
• Strong background in design development and construction administration processes.

Industry Experience Required:

• Extensive experience in project management within construction or similar industries, with a successful track record in overseeing large-scale projects.

Nice to Have:

• Quantifiable project success metrics.
• Advanced construction administration experience.
• Proven ability in strategic decision-making and team mentorship.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and optimize advanced vision and perception models for manufacturing quality inspection and defect detection.
• Work with multi-sensor input and robotics to refine object detection, localization, and attribute understanding in production environments.
• Train and adapt models on Clients-specific datasets to meet high accuracy and robustness standards.
• Create domain-specific solutions surpassing standard approaches, tailor-made for Clients automation and manufacturing requirements.
• Collaborate closely with engineering teams for the seamless integration of ML models into manufacturing systems and their subsequent performance monitoring.

Must-Have Skills:

• Proven expertise in Computer Vision, Machine Learning, and AI model development.
• Strong programming skills in Python and experience with ML frameworks (PyTorch, TensorFlow).
• Experience with large, domain-specific datasets; expertise in data labeling, preprocessing, and augmentation.

Domain Experience Required:
Experience in automation, robotics, or a closely related field is crucial for understanding the unique challenges and requirements of clients manufacturing environment.
