Pay Range: $100 - $110 on W2

Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Workday Development Engineer / Workday Benefits Developer to join the People Technology team and support large-scale HR transformation initiatives and ongoing Workday BAU operations. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience with Workday HCM, Benefits, business process and security configuration, advanced reporting, and integrations. This role will serve as a key technical partner to HR and corporate teams, providing end-to-end analysis, solution design, configuration, testing, implementation, and production support across a complex global HR environment.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage Workday incident and change requests across both transformation initiatives and ongoing BAU operations, ensuring timely resolution and effective stakeholder communication.
  • Perform deep-level analysis and consultation for Workday Benefits, HCM, reporting, dashboards, new features, and system enhancement opportunities.
  • Provide end-to-end consulting for internal customers, including requirements gathering, solution design, configuration, implementation, testing, and delivery.
  • Design, configure, and implement Workday system enhancements while ensuring alignment with business requirements, security standards, and HR processes.
  • Develop and support Workday integrations using technologies such as EIB, Workday Studio, APIs, PECI, PICOF, and related integration capabilities.
  • Create and support test scripts, troubleshoot complex system issues, document solutions, and partner with HR and corporate teams to drive continuous Workday improvements.
Must-Have Skills:
  • Strong hands-on Workday experience within a global HR transformation program, HRIS environment, or HR Operations/Shared Services organization.
  • Expert-level experience with Workday HCM configuration, including Business Process Configuration and Security Configuration.
  • Advanced Workday Report Writer experience with the ability to develop complex reports and dashboards.
  • Strong experience supporting Workday Benefits and related HCM functionality, including analysis, configuration, enhancements, and production support.
Nice-to-Have Skills:
  • Experience with Workday integrations including EIB, Workday Studio, APIs, PECI, and PICOF.
  • Cross-module Workday experience with Compensation, Recruiting, Onboarding, or Talent Management.
  • Experience supporting Workday transformation programs, system implementations, and end-to-end HR technology improvements.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience serving as a Workday technical point of contact for complex transformation projects and BAU support.
  • Strong documentation, communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills within a global and matrixed organization.
  • Ability to effectively balance multiple BAU requests, incidents, enhancements, and transformation initiatives in a fast-paced environment.
