JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
We are seeking a Verification Engineer to join our team, who will be responsible for preparing verification plans, setting up test environments, and executing test scripts to ensure software and firmware meet our high standards. This role involves working hands-on with Linux machines, automating hardware device programming, and maintaining rigorous test logs. The successful candidate will play a critical role in supporting customer issue reproduction and debugging, as well as continuously improving our verification code and test automation frameworks.
- Prepare detailed verification plans for each release and create corresponding JIRA stories and tasks.
- Configure test environments including Linux machines, networking hardware, and client-specific devices.
- Program hardware devices and execute Python/Bash scripts to verify customer workflows; analyze results and troubleshoot issues.
- Maintain detailed test logs for each requirement and software release, presenting summarized test execution statuses.
- Participate in requirement and specification review sessions to ensure comprehensive testing coverage.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
- Strong expertise in Python scripting and coding.
- Solid understanding of networking principles, protocols, and technologies.
- Proficient in Linux/Unix systems, including network configuration and troubleshooting.
This is a hybrid position requiring 2-3 days of onsite work between Tuesday and Thursday. Applicants must hold a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Electrical and Computer Engineering and have at least 3 years of relevant experience. A laptop will be provided for work purposes.
