Location: Newark CA or Southfield MI (Onsite)
Pay Range: $80.00. -$90.00 Per Hour


Job Summary:

This role involves owning the security validation of vehicle Electronic Control Units (ECUs) and ensuring software requirements are clear, complete, and testable. The successful candidate will create comprehensive test plans, improve validation processes and collaborate closely with developers to resolve issues. Experience in building test infrastructure for automotive products and a passion for embedded systems testing are critical for this role.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Own the security validation process for vehicle ECUs.
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive test plans, including scope, resources, and schedule.
  • Identify and implement improvements in validation processes and test methodologies.
  • Collaborate with developers to document and resolve issues in detail.
  • Build and maintain the test infrastructure, including automation testing.

Must-Have Skills:

  • Expertise in automation scripting languages (e.g., Python, Shell).
  • Experience with automotive protocols (DoIP, UDS, LIN, CAN).
  • Strong debugging and analytical skills.

Industry Experience Required:

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in testing networking and/or automotive products.
  • Experience in embedded Linux platforms and security feature verification such as Secure Boot and Secure Update.
