JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
We are seeking a VLSI Circuit Design Engineer to join our team and work on cutting-edge semiconductor technology projects. This 100% remote role (with a hybrid option in Austin, TX) focuses on deep sub-micron IC logic, ASIC, and Custom Design utilizing Client's PROM IP across a range of applications. The ideal candidate will possess a blend of technical expertise and creativity, contributing significantly to our mission of advancing semiconductor technology.
- Collaborate with the design team for understanding and defining physical design specifications for mixed-signal circuits.
- Execute floor planning, power planning, and placement for digital and analog blocks.
- Validate physical design through static timing and noise analysis.
- Characterize and analyze power grid using industry-standard tools.
- Address physical design issues, implement design updates, and ensure designs meet manufacturing requirements through coordination with DRC/LVS teams.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
- Proven experience in VLSI Circuit Design and familiarity with design tools like Cadence Virtuoso, HSPICE, and ADE.
- Proficiency in physical design methodologies and tools such as Primetime, StarRC, and Redhawk.
- Experience with scripting languages (Python, TCL, Perl) for design automation and quality analysis.
