JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Analyze current and proposed product offerings for compliance issues, prioritizing research based on business impact.
- Collaborate with data analytics teams and product managers to understand quality trends, provide deeper tax insights on hypotheses and recommendations for training or process improvement opportunities for experts.
- Summarize tax and regulatory issues related to individual and business income taxation through research and analysis.
- Identify and communicate updates to service guidance for individual taxation, including training and articles.
- Represent the Tax Standards & Compliance team in cross-functional meetings, providing recommendations on complex compliance issues.
- Ability to document research concisely with clear conclusions and recommendations related to individual taxation
- Collaborate and effectively communicate with partners in small and large group settings related to individual taxation.
- Proficient in business income tax domains preferable
- Continually assess and drive process and tool improvements for customers and experts
- Effective use of Google suite of tools required (comfortable with formulas, pivot tables, creating presentations)
