• Maintain and ensure tax programs comply with federal and state regulations.
• Research and analyze tax legislation to implement in software updates.
• Apply standard practices to introduce moderate tax product changes.
• Perform unit testing and QA checks to prevent unintended changes during updates.
• Proactively seek guidance from senior team members and contribute to Agile/Scrum teams.

• 2-5 years income tax preparation or analysis experience
• Must have Business Tax experience: Someone who worked on Individual tax will not be able to do this work as business tax is completely different from individual tax
• Strong understanding of federal and state taxation, preferably in multiple tax categories: Individual, business, non-profit, estates and trusts, etc.
• Previous in-depth utilization of tax preparation software is highly preferred
• Excellent problem-solving skills Moderate level of understanding of software best practices and coding techniques
• Possess or able to quickly learn and apply tax content development tools (both print and electronic filing)
• Possess or able to quickly learn testing processes to validate work, whether automated or manual
• Effective interpersonal skills, which translates into the ability to partner for commitment and action, communication, as well as listening Cultural and organizational fit at Intuit and in Tax Content; emotional intelligence, business acumen, professional maturity, motivation for taking on this role
