JOB RESPONSIBILITES:

• Experience Level: 3-5 years Manages the outsourcing process for the organization's IT department.
• Oversees the evaluation and selection of vendors as well as the negotiation of purchase contracts or service level agreements.
• Handles problems with vendors or products as necessary.
• May be responsible for budgeting. Familiar with a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures. Relies on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of tasks.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

• Requires a bachelor's degree and experience in the field or a related area.
• Leads and directs the work of others. A wide degree of creativity and latitude is required. Typically reports to a head of a unit/department.
• Leads strategic sourcing initiatives and develops strategies to optimize spend. Guides cross-functional teams throughout strategic sourcing projects to acquire inventory in a cost effective and timely manner. Responsible for conducting spend analysis, analyzing supply markets, executing competitive RFI/RFPs and leading supplier negotiations.
• Supports development and implementation of plans to ensure sourcing benefits are fully realized. Negotiates best deals with vendors and ensures adherence to quality and delivery standard. Builds and maintains strong relationships with key stakeholders within the divisions and corporate functions. May facilitate vendor management and/or operational reviews with key suppliers.
