JOB SUMMARY:
We are seeking a seasoned Sr. Product Manager to lead our FinTech Business Intelligence product line in Jacksonville, FL. This role demands a strategic innovator capable of shaping our Business Intelligence offerings, ensuring they align with both market needs and our overarching financial technology vision. The perfect candidate will play a pivotal role in interfacing between key stakeholders and engineering teams, pushing the boundaries of financial data analysis and product functionalities.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Own the Business Intelligence Product roadmap within the Finance Tech domain.
- 5-8 years experience in a consumer internet, e-commerce, business systems analyst, or product management work role.
- Strong background in financial software, with expertise in FP&A, period closing, P&L modeling, performance monitoring, and resource allocation
- Foundational understanding of core accounting functions and concepts, including Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), General Ledger (GL), and Record to Report (RTR), along with a general awareness of tax principles
- Experience with Agile/Scrum using tools such as Jira and Confluence
- Document, define, and communicate product features and requirements utilizing Agile methodologies.
- Foster collaboration amongst stakeholders to formulate product strategies that resonate with business objectives and technical possibilities.
- Prioritize projects, manage trade-offs, and maintain stakeholder communication regarding timelines and project statuses.
- Coordinate with data engineering and analytics teams to optimize data sources and advocate for industry best practices
- Proficient in SQL and data-driven decision-making.
- Strong experience in financial software and analysis.
- Excellent communication and product management expertise.
- A solid history in FinTech or related financial software platforms is preferred, with a special emphasis on understanding core financial operations and reporting standards.
