JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- We are currently seeking a Software Engineer III with a minimum of 5 years of experience in Java, Javascript, and Angular/React. The role primarily involves backend development, with some frontend work. Additional skills in Sling, Kafka, and Kubernetes are required, along with a good understanding of Scala/Spark in the Hadoop ecosystem. The selected candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, testing, and evaluating software and systems for computer applications, in collaboration with hardware engineers and other team members. Must have a degree in software engineering design and development.
- Research, design, and develop computer software systems in collaboration with hardware product development.
- Analyze software requirements to determine feasibility of design within time and cost constraints.
- Consult with hardware engineers and other engineering staff to evaluate interface between hardware and software and operational and performance requirements.
- Formulate and design software systems using scientific analysis and mathematical models.
- Develop and direct software system testing procedures, programming, and documentation.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in Java and Javascript.
- Must have experience with Angular or React.
- Strong knowledge and experience with Sling and Kafka.
- Solid understanding of Kubernetes.
- Familiarity with Scala/Spark in the Hadoop ecosystem.
