Job Summary:
This position offers the opportunity to lead the development and support of diverse software applications, including cloud-based, standalone desktop, and web applications, within a dynamic and collaborative environment. As a Project Engineering Manager, you will participate in scrum meetings, perform technical reviews, and ensure compliance with the development process. Your role will also include mentoring team members, contributing to continuous improvement and innovation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the development and sustainment of various software applications including cloud, desktop, microservices, and web-based systems.
- Participate in scrum meetings, conducting design/architecture evaluations, and formal technical reviews.
- Ensure adherence to the company's development processes specific to the application types developed.
- Provide mentorship and coaching to peers within the team.
- Comply with and enforce best practices in cyber security and software development lifecycle.
Must-Have Skills:
- Proficiency in Azure, Python, SQL, .NET, and either React or Angular.
- Demonstrated experience with DevOps methodologies.
- Strong foundation in software development processes and familiarity with cybersecurity practices.
Industry Experience Required:
- Experience in developing commercial/embedded software applications, preferably with exposure to downhole technology applications or similar domain.
Location: Pune (Hybrid) Experience Level: 5-7 years (Software Engineer), 10+ years (Software Engineer - Team Lead)
