JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- We are seeking an experienced APM and Digital Experience consultant to join our engineering team. In this role, you will implement, manage, and evolve our application and digital experience monitoring platforms. Implement, manage, and troubleshoot APM tools like Dynatrace.
- Implement, manage, and troubleshoot digital experience monitoring tools like Catchpoint for new applications.Optimize observability architecture and enable tracing using OpenTelemetry
- Develop frameworks and libraries for auto-instrumentation to enable enhanced monitoring. Collaborate with teams on instrumentation best practices and CI/CD integration. Create and maintain dashboards, alerts, reports for application and digital experience insights
- Define SLIs/SLOs and implement incident response procedures. Evangelize monitoring and observability initiatives across engineering teams
- 5+ years experience with APM and digital experience monitoring tools
- Experience with OpenTelemetry, Jaeger, Zipkin, Prometheus, and Grafana
- Experience with Terraform and other automation scripting. Proficiency with Python, JavaScript, AWS services
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field. Experience in agile software development environments
