Job Summary:
Senior Software Engineer - Cloud-based Solutions
We are seeking a Senior Software Engineer with specialized experience in AWS services, coding (mainly in Python), and a knack for out-of-the-box thinking to join our Cisco Umbrella and Secure Access product lines team, focusing on the CASB domain. The ideal candidate will work remotely, respond to software application inquiries, provide solutions, and analyze application performance. With a requirement of at least 7 years of experience, the role not only demands a deep understanding of technical specifications but also the ability to navigate and improve backend and frontend (20%) operations.
Key Responsibilities:- Deliver solutions after analyzing software application inquiries and pinpointing issues.
- Proactively engage in the development and maintenance of AWS-based applications.
- Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins to ensure smooth deployment processes.
- Develop with flexibility across multiple coding languages, with a primary focus on Python.
- Optimize application performance by analyzing response times, latency, and transaction metrics.
- Extensive experience with AWS services.
- Proficiency in Python and the ability to work with other coding languages.
- Solid understanding of CI/CD pipelines and hands-on experience with Jenkins.
