Location: San Jose, CA (#LI-Remote)
Pay Range: $60 - $65 Per Hour on W2


Job Summary:
We are seeking a Senior Software Engineer to lead the development of new features for our Payments Platform. This role requires a strong technical lead who can drive project success, mentor junior engineers, and ensure high code quality. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in cloud-based microservices, robust payment systems, and high-volume transaction processing.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the development of new features for the Payments Platform, focusing on payment infrastructure.
  • Write high-quality code, conduct thorough code reviews, and ensure adherence to best practices.
  • Design and develop robust microservices within a cloud-based architecture.
  • Create comprehensive documentation and diagrams to facilitate understanding and action.
  • Mentor and guide junior engineers through pair programming and code reviews.

Must-Have Skills:
  • 8+ years of software development experience with C# (.NET Core).
  • Experience with RDBMS (SQL Server, PostgreSQL) and NoSQL (Redis, MongoDB, Elasticsearch).
  • Proven experience with event/stream processing (Kafka, AWS SNS/SQS, RabbitMQ, AzureBus).

Industry Experience:
Omni-channel eCommerce, transaction-based applications, and payment systems experience is highly desirable.
