JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

• 3-5 years of experience in Tax demonstrating success in assignment of increasingly great complexity.
• Project management to monitor timelines for tax returns to ensure deadlines are met. Delegating and reviewing work to the offshore team.
  Assisting in creating some operational processes to maximize efficiencies of the offshore teams.
• Tax specific or finance-related college degree required
• There is an aspect of this role around assisting to create some processes for the offshore review team. 

JOB REQUIREMENT

• Must be experienced with state and local tax returns (separate company and world wide unitary returns)
• Under the direction and guidance of tax management, provide support to the following aspects of client operations
• Hands on preparation and analysis of the domestic federal and state tax provisions. Hands on preparation and analysis of canadian and provincial tax provisions. Hands on preparation and analysis related to US federal, and state tax compliance including multi-state separate entity tax returns and worldwide unitary tax returns for global affiliated group. Validation and reconciliation of source data to ensure data integrity
• Oracle R12 and business intelligence reporting. Reporting as needed by tax department and to support other teams
• Heavy use of Excel. Identification of potential process improvements including automation of activities to achieve efficiencies. Prepare and review state/city income tax returns for fiscal year '22. Assist with tax accounting as required, including set up and roll forwards from fiscal 2022 - 2023. Tax specific or finance-related college degree required
