Job Summary:
Join our dynamic Content Controllership Engineering team as a Senior Software UI Engineer, where innovation and efficiency drive our mission to modernize and expand financial accounting and payments applications. Our ecosystem supports the evolving needs of Content Controllership and Accounting teams, enabling precise content accounting and payments for both owned and licensed content. Contribute to high-impact projects that include migrating legacy workflows, developing new user-centric tools, and managing complex integrations within bustling studio environment.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead all phases of the software development lifecycle, focusing on planning, design, implementation, deployment, and support.
  • Collaborate in modernizing legacy architecture, proposing and implementing innovative solutions.
  • Develop intuitive UI workflows that enhance user experience and facilitate self-service.
  • Ensure robust integrations with both upstream and downstream systems for seamless operation.
  • Deliver efficient solutions for the Content Finance team, optimizing their workflows for enhanced operational efficiency.
Must-Have Skills:
  • Advanced expertise in React and UI development practices.
  • Proficiency in GraphQL APIs, RESTful services integration, and schema design.
  • Strong background in AWS, with capability in deploying and managing cloud resources.
Domain Experience:
Experience with financial accounting systems or similar financial software development is preferred but not required. Familiarity with accounting principles and finance operations will be advantageous.
This role is pivotal for a fully remote team, dedicated to supporting and modernizing the financial applications critical to our content accounting function. As we transition legacy systems to a new platform, your focus will be on front-end development, with an expectation of backend competency to support end-to-end system improvements. A robust collaboration with Content Finance Engineering and direct interaction with non-technical finance stakeholders are key aspects of this role
