Job Description

Contract Type: W2
Duration: 9 Months with possible extension
Location: Hybrid (NYC/NJ/CA)
Pay Range: $80 - $85 per hour on W2 
 

Job Summary:
Join us as a Senior Software Engineer, where innovation meets entertainment in the realm of next-generation media and sports technologies. In this pivotal role, you'll leverage your expertise in Scala, Java, and TypeScript to design and develop scalable and efficient software solutions. Your work will span across cloud computing, containerization, distributed systems, and observability to support our mission of providing a comprehensive overview for both executives and engineers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and maintain full-stack applications using Scala and TypeScript, ensuring scalability, security, and efficiency.
  • Deploy and manage cloud infrastructure using AWS services to support application deployment.
  • Implement containerization and orchestration solutions with Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Design and build fault-tolerant, highly available, and scalable distributed systems.
  • Implement observability and monitoring practices using tools like Datadog to ensure excellent system performance.

Must Have Skills:

  • Proficient in Scala and TypeScript
  • Experience with AWS and cloud-native technologies
  • Strong background in containerization (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes)
  • Solid understanding and practical experience with observability solutions (e.g., Datadog).
