JOB SUMMARY:
We are seeking a Backend Software Engineer to join the Content engineering team, focusing on creating operational efficiencies by automating royalty, revenue share, and other financial obligations through the integration of a third-party Rights & Royalties tool. This role involves designing, implementing, testing, and releasing this integration within a 6-month project timeframe, in collaboration with client's engineering team and stakeholders to meet the Contingent Compensation team's requirements. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in reducing manual processes, enhancing data security, and improving the accuracy and efficiency of financial calculations and payments.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Design, implement, test, and release the integration of a third-party Rights & Royalties tool with client.
- Identify necessary data, its sources, and required transformations for integrating with the third-party tool.
- Work with client engineers to design efficient data in-out workflows and transfer methods.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure integration meets business needs and third-party tool features are fully utilized.
- Drive the project towards completion within a targeted 6-month period, ensuring high-quality deliverables.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
- Proficiency in Java and experience with SBN.
- Demonstrated experience in building integrations with third-party tools (ERPs, CRMs, etc.).
- Strong communication abilities for effective collaboration and stakeholder engagement.
