Pay Range: CAD 75 - 80 Per hour on T4

Job Summary:
This role is for a Senior Software Engineer to join Core Identity, focusing on critical authentication and identity services. You will design, build, and operate large-scale distributed systems using NodeJS, TypeScript, and multi-cloud infrastructure. The position requires a passion for solving complex problems and building resilient, secure software.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design, build, and operate critical services forming the backbone of the identity platform.
  • Take ownership of technical quality, security, reliability, and scalability of systems.
  • Drive architectural improvements and advocate for engineering best practices.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver customer-centric features.
  • Deepen expertise in identity, security, and modern cloud technologies while mentoring other engineers.

Must-Have Skills:
  • 4+ years of professional software development experience, or equivalent.
  • Proficiency in building backend services with Node.js (JavaScript or TypeScript).
  • Experience designing, building, and operating distributed systems in a cloud environment.
Industry Experience:
Identity and Access Management (IAM) is required.
