Job Summary:
This senior-level role focuses on building and maintaining secure cloud infrastructure within AWS GovCloud to meet stringent federal compliance requirements. You will be responsible for designing and automating foundational cloud services, including account provisioning, security policies, and reusable infrastructure components. The ideal candidate will possess strong cloud engineering judgment and the ability to mentor others in secure cloud adoption.
Key Responsibilities:
This role requires experience within regulated environments, specifically those adhering to FedRAMP High and DoD IL5 standards, or similar federal compliance frameworks.

Job Summary:
This senior-level role focuses on building and maintaining secure cloud infrastructure within AWS GovCloud to meet stringent federal compliance requirements. You will be responsible for designing and automating foundational cloud services, including account provisioning, security policies, and reusable infrastructure components. The ideal candidate will possess strong cloud engineering judgment and the ability to mentor others in secure cloud adoption.
Key Responsibilities:
- Establish and manage AWS GovCloud infrastructure for compliance.
- Automate account provisioning and enforce security guardrails.
- Develop reusable infrastructure-as-code modules for teams.
- Support standardized cloud resource creation and management.
- Collaborate with other teams on cloud architecture and operations.
- 8+ years of experience in SRE, cloud infrastructure, DevOps, platform engineering, or infrastructure software.
- Hands-on experience with AWS multi-account environments, AWS Organizations, IAM, Terraform, and cloud governance.
- Experience building automation in Python, Go, Ruby, or similar languages.
- Familiarity with Control Tower, Account Factory for Terraform, CloudFormation, EventBridge, Lambda, SQS, IAM Identity Center, or similar AWS platform services.
- Strong understanding of reliability, security, cost management, and developer experience tradeoffs in cloud platforms.
