Duration:  12+ Months with Possible Extension
Location: Remote 
Pay Range: CAD 50 - 55 per hour

Job Summary:
Seeking a committed Senior Quality Engineer in Canada (Remote) to enhance our Quality team's efforts in promoting a culture of quality throughout our organization. The candidate will play a pivotal role in collaborating with product groups to extend quality standards and will leverage their experience and passion for quality to support and innovate our testing tools and frameworks. This role involves build and maintenance of automated test scripts, oversight of pre-production deployment issues, and proactive engagement with development teams to ensure the highest quality of our product releases.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Build and maintain automated test scripts.
  • Create, maintain, and execute test automation scripts for validating product releases.
  • Act as the first point of contact for pre-production deployment failures, triaging and diagnosing root causes.
  • Participate in on-call rotations to address pre-production deployment issues in real-time.
  • Collaborate with developers to troubleshoot test failures and ensure product quality.
Must-Have Skills:
  • Proficient in test automation frameworks and tools.
  • Deep familiarity with DevOps practices and tools, specifically Jenkins.
  • Strong capabilities in using APM tools for log extraction and system monitoring.
Industry Experience:
Experience working in a software testing environment within a SaaS or cloud service domain preferred, with a solid understanding of service-oriented architecture and microservices complexities.
