Duration:  8+ Months with possible extension
Location: San Jose, CA or Seattle, WA Hybrid
Pay Range: $60 - $70 per hour on W2


Job Summary:
Join our dedicated team in either San Jose, CA or Seattle, WA as a Senior Quality Engineer, focusing on providing a 5-star experience through active participation in planning, designing, and ensuring the quality of our web and eCommerce platforms. Collaborate closely with Software Engineers and Product Managers, taking charge of significant system aspects while advocating for our customers through excellent documentation and effective communication. Keep abreast of the latest in Quality Engineering (QE) practices, contributing to our team and the broader QE community.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate on product feature planning and design, focusing on customer-centric outcomes.
  • Write and complete test plans according to feature requirements, collaborating with Software Engineers and Product Managers.
  • Create detailed documentation and advocate for customer needs and perspectives.
  • Lead in maintaining system quality, participating in production release validation, and operational checks.
  • Monitor test automation health, assess feature readiness, and manage monitoring signals during deployment.
Must-Have Skills:
  • In-depth experience with web site and web services testing.
  • Proven ability to triage bugs with developers and compile trend and analysis reports.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to influence others and articulate complex ideas clearly.
Industry Experience Required:
  • Prior experience in testing web applications and eCommerce platforms is essential.
This role is perfect for someone with a bachelor’s in computer science or an equivalent four-year degree, boasting over 5 years of experience in web and eCommerce platform testing, looking to apply and expand their expertise within a leading platform
