Pay Range: $60 - $70 Per Hour on W2

Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Manufacturing Engineer specialized in battery and drive unit production for our Newark, CA location. This role involves employing engineering principles to enhance manufacturing production and efficiency, particularly within the innovative field of electric vehicles (EV). You will be instrumental in designing layout plans, optimizing manufacturing processes, and integrating cutting-edge technologies.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Analyze and optimize time, motion, methods, and speed for various operations to set standard production rates and enhance efficiency.
  • Interpret engineering drawings and schematics to uphold quality and reliability standards alongside management and engineering teams.
  • Ensure all production records comply with quality assurance specifications.
  • Plan assignments based on worker performance, machine capacity, and production schedules.
  • Develop workflow, routing, floor layouts, and machine utilization charts and graphs.

Must-Have Skills:
  • 5-7+ years’ experience in Manufacturing Engineering, ideally within EV or related advanced manufacturing sectors.
  • Proficiency in CAD and ability to produce and interpret engineering drawings and blueprints.
  • Fluency in Cantonese and/or Mandarin
  • Experience with manufacturing processes, specifically relating to battery and drive unit production.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, with a capacity for analytical thinking and detail orientation.
