We are looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer to lead our transition to cloud-based data management systems, focusing on cost reduction, user experience improvement, and enhanced data value extraction to achieve business objectives. The ideal candidate will design, implement, and maintain our product and development platforms using cutting-edge data tools and technologies within AWS environments. This role involves close collaboration with application developers and business partners to ensure technology solutions align with strategic goals.
Key Responsibilities:
Experience in a banking or financial services environment is preferred due to the need for strict adherence to security and governance standards.

Job Summary:
We are looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer to lead our transition to cloud-based data management systems, focusing on cost reduction, user experience improvement, and enhanced data value extraction to achieve business objectives. The ideal candidate will design, implement, and maintain our product and development platforms using cutting-edge data tools and technologies within AWS environments. This role involves close collaboration with application developers and business partners to ensure technology solutions align with strategic goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Define and document CI/CD best practices and implement data engineering tools including Databricks, Immuta, and Starburst within AWS.
- Solve complex problems using scripting languages across different environments and evaluate new technologies to enhance system speed, efficiency, and scalability.
- Coach application developers on scalable application building techniques and conduct audit checks to ensure developmental and operational alignment.
- Align technology solutions with business strategies in collaboration with partners across all functions and manage dependences across platforms and applications.
- Implement, maintain security as per policies, and support data access control and governance through tools integration (Immuta & Collibra).
- Proficiency in AWS cloud services, particularly around data infrastructure.
- Extensive knowledge and experience with Databricks or similar data processing platforms.
- Strong experience in data governance (Collibra) and access control systems (Immuta).
