Contract Type: W2
Duration:  13 Months with possible extension
Location: Seattle, WA or Santa Monica, CA (Hybrid)
Pay Range: $80.00 - $86.00 Per Hour

Job Summary:
The role is focused on testing and validating ETL logic and data pipelines, ensuring the high quality of data releases into production with a data-driven approach. The successful candidate will also create, deliver, and continuously improve our quality processes for operational data tailored to subscriber and commerce operations. Furthermore, collaboration with Data Analysts, Product, and Engineering teams is essential to deeply understand the transaction systems and business use cases.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Test and validate ETL logic and Data Pipelines.
  • Own the quality of every release into production with a data-driven approach.
  • Translate technical specifications into test requirements.
  • Build automated and reusable tests for data stores.
  • Diagnose issues, report defects, and advocate for regression tests.
Must-Have Skills:
  • In-depth knowledge of SQL and database testing.
  • Proficiency in Python Scripting
  • Experience in a range of common big data tools & technologies such as Airflow, Hive.
  • Snowflake, Databricks, Spark etc.
  • Experience in working with large datasets (Terabytes or more)
