Contract Type: W2
Duration: 6 Months - 7 Months
Location: Austin, TX 78717 (Onsite Hybrid)
Pay Range: $25 - $30 per hour

Job Summary: 
We are seeking a Senior Budget Analyst with a strong finance background to manage the day-to-day line items including actuals, forecasts, and reports. The successful candidate will have extensive experience in departmental budget management, with a keen understanding of OPEX and CAPEX. Training on PowerBI will be provided if necessary.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Daily management of financial line items, including actual expenditures, forecasts, and reporting.
  • Maintain detailed departmental budgets, ensuring adherence to financial guidelines and policies.
  • Conduct comprehensive financial analysis to identify areas for cost-saving and efficiency improvements.
  • Collaborate with various teams to gather financial data and insights, supporting strategic decision-making.
  • Serve as a finance department liaison, providing expertise in Excel and financial analysis tools (PowerBI training provided).

Must-Have Skills:

  • Advanced proficiency in Excel for financial modeling and analysis.
  • Strong background in budget management and departmental finance.
  • Practical knowledge of OPEX and CAPEX management.

Industry Experience:
Significant experience (5-9 years) in tech finance or a closely related field is preferred.
