Job Summary: 
We are seeking a dedicated Senior Accountant to join our dynamic One Medical GL Accounting team, working remotely through the end of 2025, with a strong possibility for extension. This role involves standard General Ledger tasks, offering a chance to contribute significantly to our accounting projects. The position comes with the flexibility for work hours and the unique opportunity to be part of a leading team while filling the gap left by an employee on maternity leave.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform cash journal entries accurately and timely.
  • Conduct detailed balance sheet reconciliations to guarantee the integrity of financial statements.
  • Analyze financial variances (Flux analysis) to highlight discrepancies and propose corrective actions.
  • Work closely with the team, mostly remote, ensuring seamless communication and reporting.
  • Manage month-end close processes, including some over-time requirements to meet deadlines.

Must-Have Skills:
  • Proficiency in Excel for financial analysis and reporting.
  • Experience with journal entries and general ledger maintenance.
  • Familiarity with NetSuite or similar accounting software.

Domain Experience Required:
  • Previous experience in general ledger accounting is essential.
  • CPA certification is preferred but not required.
  • A proactive approach and ability to work independently in a remote setting are crucial.
