Job Summary:
We are seeking a seasoned Senior Security Incident Responder to join our dynamic team and address ever-evolving cybersecurity threats. In this role, you will engage in real-time security incident management, collaborate extensively with cross-functional teams to bolster the company’s defenses, and leverage your advanced technical skills to innovate our response strategies. Ideal candidates will thrive under pressure, exhibit strong investigative abilities, and possess a proactive approach to learning about and countering new attacks.
Key Responsibilities:
- Investigate and respond to cybersecurity events and alerts in real time.
- Implement containment measures to mitigate security threats while maintaining business operations.
- Analyze and counter web-based threats including but not limited to SQL injection and cross-site scripting.
- Collaborate with diverse teams to resolve security incidents swiftly.
- Enhance threat detection and response capabilities through automation and optimization of cyber defense strategies.
- Excellent problem-solving and investigative skills.
- Ability to manage incidents independently.
- Strong knowledge in detection and response technologies (e.g., SIEM, EDR).
Required Experience:
- Experience in Incident Response, Security Operations, DFIR, Security DevOps, or Threat Hunting is critical.
- Proficiency in analyzing log data using tools like Splunk or Elastic.
- Experience with security automation using SOAR tools and/or custom automation methods.
- Prior work in technology or cybersecurity-focused organizations preferred.
- Experience in cloud environments (AWS preferred) and understanding of Linux containerization (Kubernetes preferred) are highly desirable.
