Duration:  6+ Months
Location: San Jose, CA (#LI-Hybrid role, 2-3 days a week in office)
Pay Range: $59.00 - $62.00 per hour

Job Summary:
This position focuses on managing and optimizing public cloud infrastructure, primarily on AWS or Azure, ensuring robust disaster recovery strategies, and streamlining deployment processes with CI/CD tools. The role demands expertise in cloud security, performance testing automation, and setting up observability and monitoring tools to maintain high service resilience. The ideal candidate will work closely with internal teams to automate infrastructure deployment through IaC using Terraform, address compliance and security concerns, and manage secrets efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and implement disaster recovery plans and cloud security protocols to safeguard sensitive data and ensure service resilience.
  • Automate performance testing workflows and utilize Jenkins for load, stress, and chaos testing.
  • Configure observability dashboards and alerts using Azure Data Explorer and KQL queries.
  • Manage infrastructure with Terraform to support regional expansion and migration efforts.
  • Collaborate with internal IT teams to address compliance, TechGRC, and security concerns.
Must-Have Skills:
  • Proficient in AWS or Azure cloud platforms.
  • Skilled in CI/CD tools and processes.
  • Strong experience with Terraform for IaC.
Industry Experience:
Extensive experience in cloud infrastructure management and security within a hybrid work environment is essential for this role.
