Location: Newark CA (Hybrid)
Pay Range: $50.00 - $60.00 Per hour


Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced SEC Reporting and Accounting Specialist to join our Accounting and SEC Reporting team based in Newark, CA. The chosen candidate will play a crucial role in preparing and reviewing our SEC filings, ensuring compliance with U.S. GAAP and SEC rules & regulations, and supporting the Investor Relations team with materials review. This is a hybrid role requiring 2 days of onsite work per week, offering a potential for overtime and extension.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and review SEC filings (10-Ks, 10-Qs, 8-Ks) in Workiva, including the XBRL review process.
  • Research U.S. GAAP guidance, perform benchmarking, and provide recommendations.
  • Ensure SOX controls compliance and coordinate deliverables Maintaining corporate reporting calendar.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Accounting operations, Treasury, FP&A, Investor Relations, and Legal).
  • Recommend and assist in the implementation of process improvements to streamline SEC reporting processes.

Must-Have Skills:

  • 4+ years of big four public accounting and SEC reporting experience.
  • Proficiency in Workiva.
  • CPA license or progression toward obtaining it.

Domain Experience:
Experience in the finance or accounting department of a corporate setting, particularly with a focus on SEC reporting and compliance, is required. Familiarity with SAP and strong skills in MS Excel and MS Word are preferred. The role demands an excellent ability to communicate and collaborate with various internal teams to support financial reporting and investor relations activities.
