Why Patients Need You
Whether you are involved in the design and development of manufacturing processes for products or supporting maintenance and reliability, engineering is vital to making sure customers and patients have the medicines they need, when they need them. 

What You Will Achieve
Working with the Pharmaceutical's dynamic engineering team, you will be the Automation Project and Portfolio Manager and act as the liaison for the Process Automation team with other engineering departments, operations, support areas, and external vendor contracting firms. 

How You Will Achieve It
  • Project and Portfolio Manager for the Process Automation Team
  • Manage automation project estimate review and attend capital project estimate review to ensure consistency and accuracy
  • Track performance to estimates, scope, and schedule
  • Manage metrics pertaining to projects (capital and expense)
  • Maintain projected expense by PO in TiPro and update monthly actual expense and capital credits to report remaining available to budget.
  • Track expense and headcount related budget additions for approved capital projects for input into the budget planning process
  • Continue to improve standard work around project management for the team (i.e. automation estimate form, project schedule templates, etc.)
  • Shutdown coordination and deliverable tracking.
  • Ensure issues with project related deliverables are identified and communicated back to the shutdown core team.
  • Identify project management gaps on projects and resolve issues related to those gaps.
  • Master Planning – Drive master planning for the Process Automation team working with operations and other support areas to develop and maintain
Must have Qualifications
  • Associate's degree OR Bachelor's degree with at least 5 years of experience.
  • Experience in project management with an understanding of technical projects
  • Proficiency in Excel, Word, PowerPoint, SharePoint, Teams, and Project Tracking applications (e.g., MS Project, Smart Sheets, etc.)
  • Excellent Organizational skills and can meet project task deadlines
  • Proven ability to work in team environment and contribute as a team member
  • Excellent communication skills
Nice-to-Have
  • Pharmaceutical industry experience
  • The ideal candidate should have background in cGMP regulations
  • PMP certification
Physical/Mental Requirements
Office and plant environment. Keyboarding, lifting, standing, bending, walking.
Non-Standard Work Schedule, Travel or Environment Requirements
Some weekend and overtime, especially during shutdowns. Supporting 24/7 operation – on call coverage. Adhere to safe work practices. Some travel (including international) required. (Approx. 5% of time)
