Duration: 6+ Months 
Location: Sunnyvale, CA 
Pay Range: $25 - $30 per hour on W2

Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated Accessories Final Quality Inspection (AFQI) Technician 2 to join our Quality Assurance team. This role is crucial for inspecting incoming materials, assemblies, and products to ensure they meet quality specifications, utilizing tools like SAP and Neptune for tracking. The successful candidate will play a key role in maintaining quality standards and supporting continuous improvement efforts within our QA processes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct timely incoming material and first article inspections.
  • Perform visual, dimensional, and functional inspections according to QA procedures, logging and tracking materials in SAP and Neptune.
  • Create inspection history files, and accurately record non-conformances in Device History Records.
  • Maintain material traceability regarding inspection status, and handle products to prevent contamination or damage.
  • Communicate inspection results effectively with Quality Engineering and Supplier Engineering teams.
Must-Have Skills:
  • Ability to read drawings and specifications.
  • Proficiency with basic inspection tools (e.g., microscopes, micrometers, calipers).
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel, and experience with SAP and ACCS (Agile) or equivalent systems.
Industry Experience:
  • Experience in a manufacturing environment adhering to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) is required.
Education/Experience:
  • High school diploma required, A.S. Engineering degree preferred.
  • 1-3 years related experience in QA or a similar field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
