Contract Type: W2
Duration: 6+ Months with possible extension
Location: Remote
Pay Range: $60 - $70 per hour on W2
Job Summary:
The Test Engineer 5 will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and reliability of the Customer Service Platform. This platform powers customer support experiences across streaming, gaming, and other services, leveraging a hybrid ecosystem of in-house and vendor solutions. The role involves designing, executing, and enhancing both automated and manual testing strategies while contributing to next-generation automation frameworks and supporting innovation in areas such as Generative AI.

Job Summary:
The Test Engineer 5 will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and reliability of the Customer Service Platform. This platform powers customer support experiences across streaming, gaming, and other services, leveraging a hybrid ecosystem of in-house and vendor solutions. The role involves designing, executing, and enhancing both automated and manual testing strategies while contributing to next-generation automation frameworks and supporting innovation in areas such as Generative AI.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and execute comprehensive test strategies for new and existing features
- Develop and maintain UI automation frameworks using modern tools
- Perform API testing across REST, GraphQL, and gRPC services
- Conduct exploratory and manual testing based on business needs
- Troubleshoot and maintain CI/CD pipelines to ensure smooth releases
- Collaborate with product stakeholders to define test plans and quality benchmarks
- Contribute to building scalable automation frameworks for hybrid platforms
- Ensure platform reliability, scalability, and operational excellence
Must-Have Skills:
- Strong experience with automation tools such as Selenium, Playwright, or Cypress
- Proficiency in API testing methodologies and tools
- Hands-on experience with Python and JavaScript
- Experience managing and troubleshooting CI/CD pipelines
- Ability to balance automated and manual testing approaches
Industry Experience:
- Preferred experience in Customer Support, SaaS, or Account Management domains
- Exposure to cloud platforms (e.g., AWS)
- Familiarity with Generative AI / ML applications
- Understanding of security, privacy, and compliance testing
- Knowledge of UX fundamentals and modern frontend technologies (e.g., React)
