Job Summary:
We are seeking a Product Security Engineer with a strong background in designing secure products to join our Coinbase Product Security organization. This role involves working closely with engineering and product management teams to ensure our upcoming products and features are secure by conducting security design reviews, threat modeling, and secure code analyses, ultimately safeguarding millions of our customers.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct security design reviews and threat modeling for new products and features.
  • Perform security code reviews, identify vulnerabilities, propose fixes, and collaborate on mitigation solutions.
  • Lead product risk reduction initiatives with cross-functional teams.
  • Provide timely secure design consultations to engineering teams, along with vulnerability analysis and bug fix verification.
  • Optimize and automate existing security processes for greater efficiency.
Must-Have Skills:
  • Proficiency in Web and Network Security
  • Experience with Secure Coding Practices
  • Strong ability in Threat Modeling
Industry Experience:
Experience in the Blockchain/Cryptocurrency domain is highly preferred.
