Pay Range: $30-$33/Hr on W2

Job Summary:
We are seeking a meticulous and proactive Preboarding Operations Specialist (Contractor) with expertise in I-9 documentation and compliance to ensure all new hires meet federal employment eligibility requirements. This critical role involves managing preboarding tasks, ensuring accurate and compliant onboarding processes, and maintaining up-to-date knowledge on I-9 and E-Verify regulations within a fast-paced environment. Ideal candidates will have a strong background in HR operations, be proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, and possess hands-on experience with HRIS platforms like Workday.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Complete I-9 processing for all new hires, ensuring compliance with IRCA.
  • Audit and monitor I-9 forms for accuracy, completeness, and timely submission.
  • Support preboarding operations by auditing and creating employee profiles in HR systems.
  • Track and follow up on outstanding preboarding and I-9 tasks to maintain compliance.
  • Collaborate with internal teams on preboarding dependencies and maintain strict confidentiality of sensitive employee information.
Must-Have Skills:
  • Proficient in I-9 employment eligibility verification and E-Verify processing.
  • Strong knowledge of I-9 compliance regulations and best practices.
  • Experience with HRIS and ATS platforms (Workday preferred).
Industry Experience:
  • Prior experience in HR operations, particularly in high-volume onboarding environments. Workday experience highly preferred.
