Job Summary:
We are seeking a Senior Payroll Accountant to join our dynamic team, focusing on accounting standards and process improvements across our global operations in the APAC and EMEA regions. The ideal candidate will manage end-to-end payroll accounting tasks, ensuring compliance and efficiency in our financial operations. This role involves significant collaboration with internal teams and external partners to enhance and streamline payroll systems and processes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Execute comprehensive month-end closing activities, including the meticulous preparation of payroll-related journal entries and reconciliations for international entities.
• Collaborate effectively with Payroll Operations, Tax, R2R, and FP&A teams to deliver accurate accounting reports and analyses on a timely basis.
• Lead projects on payroll system upgrades, participating in systems testing and supporting project implementations to drive process improvements.
• Drive initiatives for optimizing efficiency and accuracy within the payroll function, identifying opportunities for streamlined processes.
• Support internal and external audits related to payroll, ensuring all activities comply with relevant company policies and accounting standards.

Must-Have Skills:

• Certified Accountant with solid knowledge in US GAAP and IFRS.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and experience with ERP systems like Oracle.
• Strong analytical skills with a keen eye for detail and the ability to work under tight deadlines.

Preferred Industry Experience:

• Experience in multinational setups and familiarity with global payroll processes are highly preferred for this role.
