Summary:
In this pivotal role, you will spearhead the automation and orchestration of our client’s global public cloud infrastructure, playing a critical part in the cloud networking team with a focus on proactive network deployment and management. Working closely with project managers, you'll ensure timely achievement of milestones and resolution of issues while actively engaging in the troubleshooting, deployment, and upgrade of network devices worldwide using advanced automation tools. This position offers the opportunity to work remotely, requiring adaptability to any US timezone and the ability to handle on-call responsibilities in rotation with team members.

Key Responsibilities:

• Drive global public cloud infrastructure automation and orchestration.
• Actively participate in cloud networking operations, including device deployments and upgrades using ansible, python, and other in-house tools.
• Partner with project and program managers to meet project timelines and resolve issues.
• Perform detailed network troubleshooting, engage in capacity planning, and execute network changes in the production environment.
• Coordinate with internal and external teams for network deployment and troubleshoot network incidents within SLA timeframes.

Must-Have Skills:

• Proficiency in scripting and automation tools such as Ansible and Python.
• Significant experience in network engineering, including internet and datacenter operations.
• Solid foundation in networking concepts (routing, switching, security, and load balancing).

Industry Experience:

• Prior experience in a cloud-based or datacenter environment is crucial, with a strong emphasis on network automation.
