Job Summary:
We are seeking an accomplished Senior Network Engineer to lead the architectural design, setup, configuration, and optimization of our global network infrastructure, ensuring its highest level of performance and reliability. The role offers a unique chance to provide end-to-end ownership while offering comprehensive support and deploying strategic improvements within a 24x7 operational setting. Ideal candidates will bring a proactive and mentoring approach to the team, driving success and fostering a culture of continuous improvement and skill development.
Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as the subject matter expert for our global network infrastructure, ensuring its stability and reliability.
- Lead the architectural design and configuration of network systems for new sites, including major upgrades and performance tuning.
- Offer expert-level support for core network technologies, proactively and reactively.
- Act as the final point of escalation for critical network issues, mentor junior team members, and manage complex troubleshooting in collaboration with stakeholders.
- Develop and maintain essential documentation such as implementation guidelines, runbooks, and design templates.
Must-Have Skills:
- Extensive experience in managing and designing corporate IT network systems.
- Strong expertise in Cisco Meraki, Palo Alto, and Global Protect VPN.
- Excellent leadership, communication skills, and flexibility to cover a 24x7 shift operation.
Domain Experience Required:
Prior experience in a modern, global IT network environment is essential for this role.
