Primary Skills: Pressure Vessels (Expert), Piping Design (Expert), ASME Standards (Expert), DNV Standards (Proficient), Process Equipment (Proficient)
Contract Type: Permanent- Full time
Location: Pune
Job Summary:
This role seeks a skilled mechanical engineer to contribute to the design and development of surface well testing equipment within the upstream oil and gas sector. The position requires a strong foundation in pressure vessel and piping design, with expertise in relevant industry standards and process equipment. Candidates will be responsible for end-to-end project management, from client requirements to manufacturing collaboration, ensuring high-quality engineering solutions
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and review engineering designs for surface well testing equipment, adhering to ASME and DNV standards.
Perform pressure vessel calculations and manage design engineering activities for process equipment and skid systems.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, suppliers, and integrators for project execution and timely delivery.
Contribute to project planning, risk assessments, and manufacturing follow-ups.
Create technical documentation, including P&IDs, manufacturing plans, and commissioning procedures
Must-Have Skills:
Extensive experience in pressure vessel and piping design.
In-depth knowledge of ASME VIII and ASME B31.3 standards.
Proven design engineering experience in the upstream oil and gas industry.
Industry Experience:
Required: Oil & Gas (Upstream)
