We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Mechanical Engineer with over 5 years of experience in mechanical design and product development in the engineering sector. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing mechanical components and assemblies, ensuring designs meet standards and client requirements, and leading continuous improvement efforts within the design and engineering processes. This role offers a competitive salary and is open to all candidates, including males, with a focus on diversity.
Key Responsibilities:
Prior experience in the engineering sector, specifically with mechanical design and product development, including a strong foundation in engineering fundamentals and knowledge of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing. Exposure to a manufacturing environment and familiarity with ASME, ISO, and API standards preferred.

Job Summary:

Key Responsibilities:
- Design mechanical components and assemblies as part of Sustaining or New Product Development teams using Creo/SolidWorks.
- Develop and review manufactural drawings, ensuring adherence to standard modelling practices and manage the product lifecycle with Windchill.
- Carry out detailed engineering calculations, evaluate designs, and recommend improvements.
- Define testing procedures, conduct tests, document results, and ensure designs meet and client requirements.
- Provide technical guidance and support to the team, contribute to design standards, and share expertise throughout the organization.
- Proficiency in 3D CAD (Creo preferred) and PLM software (Windchill preferred).
- Strong problem-solving and critical thinking abilities.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
