Pay Range: $70.00 - $80.00 Per Hour

Job Summary:
We are seeking a Mechanical Lead Design Engineer specialized in ADAS Sensing, eager to shape the future of luxury electric vehicles with company's mission. The role involves driving innovation in automotive ADAS/AD product design, transitioning them from concept to production, and ensuring optimal performance through comprehensive system analyses. Ideal candidates are tenacious, quick learners, able to navigate fast-paced environments, and excel in multi-tasking.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and validate robust module mounts for interior/exterior ADAS sensors.
  • Lead kinematic mechanisms design and shock/vibration stabilization structures.
  • Execute comprehensive tolerance stack-up analysis ensuring system compatibility and manufacturability.
  • Conduct optical performance simulations using SPEOS and manage thermal/structural validations.
  • Collaborate extensively with cross-functional teams and suppliers to optimize ADAS sensor packaging and performance.

Must-Have Skills:

  • Proficiency in 3D CAD software, specifically CATIA.
  • In-depth experience with ASME GD&T principles and tolerance analysis.
  • Familiarity with CAE tools, plastic molding processes, and thermal analysis.

Industry Experience:

  • At least 5 years of experience in automotive ADAS/AD product design and implementation, with a strong track record of innovative, space-efficient mechanical designs.
