Material Engineer: 26-02111

Location: Pune
Job Summary:
This role will leverage expertise in material science to guide product development and troubleshoot issues. You will be responsible for evaluating, testing, and recommending new materials, as well as developing and qualifying specialized manufacturing processes. The position also involves creating technical documentation and providing consultation to internal teams and external stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
- Guide material choices and predict potential failures.
- Develop and assess new materials through rigorous testing.
- Qualify and refine specialized manufacturing processes.
- Author materials and process standards.
- Conduct failure and predictive analyses.
Must-Have Skills:
- Master's degree in Metallurgy or Materials Engineering with emphasis on IIT education.
- 5-7 years of experience in materials engineering.
- Proven ability to advise on material properties and selection.
This role requires experience within the technology or manufacturing sectors, with a focus on materials science and engineering.
