Job Summary:
We are looking for an Industrial Engineer II to enhance operational efficiency across various physical and transactional processes within our organization. The ideal candidate will take on leadership responsibilities, advocate for continuous improvement, and leverage lean methodologies to challenge and improve existing processes. The role requires a combination of technical depth, project, and change leadership competencies aimed at fostering a culture of efficiency and quality.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support manufacturing by analyzing and recommending improvements to manufacturing methods for cost reduction and quality enhancement.
- Conduct root cause analysis and problem-solving investigations to address manufacturing issues.
- Engage in time standards establishment, line balancing, and process simulation to optimize production processes.
- Lead and participate in cross-functional continuous improvement projects, focusing on manufacturing efficiencies.
- Utilize data analysis and metrics to drive business case development and execute manufacturing improvements.
Must-Have Skills:
- Demonstrated experience in implementing Lean Manufacturing principles.
- Proficient in software for general and data analysis tasks (e.g., Excel, R).
- Proven track record of managing multiple concurrent projects effectively.
Industry Experience:
Previous experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably in the medical device industry, along with knowledge of relevant regulations, is highly desirable.
