Pay Range:$35 - $40 per hour
This role may require travel to business meetings and events and requires reliable transportation to do so. If a hire chooses to drive with customers as their passengers or for other business reasons, hires must be in possession and maintain a valid driver’s license.

Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated Data Center Technician in Plano with proficiency in basic network administration, including rack and stack, network cabling, and documentation updates. The ideal candidate will be proactive, articulate, and organized, with a knack for preemptively resolving issues. Preference will be given to those with experience in a network lab, support, or Data Center environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform basic network administration tasks, including rack and stack operations, and network cabling.
- Efficiently manage cables and ensure the proper running of fiber and copper cables in the data center.
- Update and maintain accurate documentation of network configurations and cabling layouts.
- Troubleshoot network outages and engage with firewalls, Cisco, and Arista switches.
- Administer basic Windows, VMware environments, and Linux distributions (CENTOS, Ubuntu).
Must-Have Skills:
- Strong cable management and fiber/copper distinction abilities.
- Basic proficiency with Cisco and Arista switches.
- Effective communication through emails, messaging, and timely ticket updates.
Domain or Industry Experience:
Experience in a Data Center environment highly preferred. Knowledge of VMware virtual environments and Linux OS is advantageous.
