Job Summary:
We are seeking a Software Development Engineer II to join our Content Platform team, providing first-level support and development for all incoming production software application issues, especially with merchandising applications. The role involves developing monitoring solutions, troubleshooting/debugging, and implementing fixes primarily in Java. Successful candidates will work alongside development teams on Amazon Corporate and Divisional Software projects, enhancing our software, automating support processes, and documenting our systems.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop monitoring solutions for our platforms and applications.
  • Troubleshoot and debug issues within internally developed code.
  • Perform SQL queries to analyze data and inform solutions.
  • Update, track, and resolve technical challenges efficiently.
  • Improve systems that gather metrics on features, alongside documentation and process automation.

Must-Have Skills:
  • 3+ years of experience in Java.
  • Strong SQL skills with the ability to perform complex queries.
  • Strong experience with data structures and algorithms.
  • Experince with React (Nice to have)
Industry Experience:
  • Experience in the tech industry, particularly with software development for content platforms or similar.
  • A Computer Science degree or equivalent technical qualification, with 2-5 years of relevant experience.
