Job Summary:
We are seeking a Software Development Engineer II to join our team, providing first-level support and development for all incoming production software application issues, especially with merchandising applications. The role involves developing monitoring solutions, troubleshooting/debugging, and implementing fixes primarily in Java. Successful candidates will work alongside development teams on Software projects, enhancing our software, automating support processes, and documenting our systems.

Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable, distributed systems for financial processing.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate new features and functionalities.
- Ensure the reliability, performance, and security of financial systems.
- Analyze and optimize systems for efficiency and scalability.
- Participate in code reviews, maintaining high code quality standards.
- 5+ years of experience in Java
- Strong experience with data structures and algorithms.
- Experience in designing and developing distributed, multi-tiered systems.
- Experience with AWS technologies is preferred.
