  • Create complex web-based applications.
  • Use this scripting language to modify the design and functionality of websites as requested by their clients.
  • May write programs or revise existing applications.
  • Also identify opportunities to fine-tune and optimize applications of java developed projects.
    Will often test programs to verify that they work correctly.
  • This responsibility includes resolving technical issues through debugging, research and investigation.
  • Test and document software for client applications.
  • Write, modify, and debug software for client applications.
  • Write code to create single-threaded or user interface event driven applications, either stand-alone and those which access servers or services.
  • Use source debuggers and visual development environments.
 Required Skills:
  • BS in Computer Science or equivalent work-related experience.
  • 5+ years’ experience developing large service based OLTP applications with high volume and high-reliability requirements.
  • Strong understanding of system capacity, system performance, and system security and data privacy needs.
  • Experience with RESTFul Webservices using Jersey, CXF and/or other frameworks.
  • Significant exposure in Spring Boot applications and using Spring Framework.
  • Strong experience with Object Orientated design and programming.
  • Experience with Amazon Web Services.
  • Knowledge and experience with Java/JEE design patterns.
  • Experience with SOA (service-oriented architectures), relational database object persistence, middleware, and enterprise specifications for common business objects.
  • Strong knowledge of software development methodologies and best practices
  • Ability to comfortably move across high-level technical design, detailed technical design, implementation, and operational support.
  • Ability to use seasoned judgment to suggest approaches that optimize among customer needs, business constraints and technological realities.
  • Strong communication skills, including written, verbal, and presentation
