Location: Boston, MA - (100% Remote)
Pay Range: $77.76 - $82.76 per hour on W2

Job Summary: 
We're seeking a seasoned Senior Controller with a strong background in both Ecommerce/Retail and B2B sectors to oversee our financial reporting, general accounting, and compliance functions. The successful candidate will ensure adherence to GAAP, spearhead the monthly accounting close process, and act as the primary contact for all internal and external audits. This role is crucial for managing various revenue streams, including direct to consumer and B2B distribution, and requires someone who can proactively address financial control gaps while fostering continuous improvement across financial policies and procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Direct functional areas within financial reporting, general accounting, and compliance, ensuring alignment with various operational and financial areas.
  • Oversee the monthly accounting close process and ensure accurate maintenance of accounting records.
  • Act as the point of contact for key financial controls, audits, and as the owner of financial strategies and objectives across multiple departments.
  • Implement, document, and maintain efficient processes that improve the monthly financial close cycle.
  • Provide comprehensive month-end reports and analytics, offering strategic financial advice and guidance across the company.

Must-Have Skills:

  • CPA certification with a solid understanding of GAAP.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Dynamics 365, Great Plains, or similar ERP systems.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage diverse financial functions in a fast-paced environment.

Domain Experience:

  • Ecommerce/Retail and B2B industry experience is required, with at least 10+ years in finance/accounting roles and 2+ years in a Controller position.
