JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Our client is seeking an IT Support Technician Contractor to join their Tech Operations team, providing exceptional on-site desktop support and ensuring a world-class support experience for our workforce.
- The role includes provisioning and deploying computers, assisting with conference room technology, and supporting end-user requests and operational needs.
- With a focus on enriching the client workplace through technology, the position demands hands-on involvement in a variety of technical duties ranging from system preparation to remote support.
- Assist on-site with Tech Operations for operational and secondary support requests and technology recovery procedures.
- Perform technical sweeps, basic troubleshooting of AV equipment, and system preparation for a wide range of operating systems and devices.
- Experience troubleshooting productivity software (Google Workspace, Microsoft Office, Adobe Creative Cloud) and conference room technology.
- Strong foundation in hardware support across different operating systems (Windows, macOS, Linux, ChromeOS) and networking protocols.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to provide executive support, along with familiarity with ticketing systems and data security best practices.
- Support the deployment of computer hardware, remote support, application access, and support for onboarding processes.
- Provide onsite support for AV events, mobile devices, printers, and other technical duties as required. Collaborate with the Tech IT team to improve user experience through the implementation of new or updated workflows.
