Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Body Test and Validation Engineer to take charge of hardware testing and validation for body systems and components, including but not limited to the instrument panel, center console, and door trims. The successful candidate will coordinate tests from setup to execution, ensuring test findings are well-documented and communicated. This role requires collaboration with design, quality, and manufacturing teams to root cause test failures and drive validation processes, including managing test schedules and logistics with external test houses and suppliers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Drive the entire testing and validation process for body systems components, ensuring efficient setup, execution, and reporting.
  • Design and fabricate custom test fixtures for complex bench test setups.
  • Document test findings accurately and communicate them promptly for design and manufacturing process improvements.
  • Coordinate with external test houses and T1 suppliers to meet test schedules and ensure accurate results.
  • Review test reports and prepare summary results, driving DVP sign-off for product salability.

Must-Have Skills:

  • Proficient in CAD software (CATIA, 3DX, or SolidWorks).
  • Experience with automotive interior/exterior validation and testing.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills.

Industry Experience Required:
At least 5 years of experience in automotive interior or exterior validation and testing at an OEM, Tier-1 supplier, or Test Lab is required.
